Right to manage
If you are concerned in anyway about the management of your block, you and your fellow residents are entitled by law to take full control from the current Freeholder or managing agents by way of the Right to Manage (RTM) process. The main three requirements to be fulfilled are as follows:
- That at least 50% of the flat owners need to be in agreement.
- That at least 75% of the block must be residential.
- That at least two thirds of the residential units must be let on long leases (at least 21 years).
